For employers
Academic support benefits for your employees’ families.
Give employees’ families structured access to tutoring, college guidance, workshops, and coordinated support. Office Hours handles setup, onboarding, and ongoing delivery while your benefits team receives aggregate program reporting.
Your proposal will define the launch timeline and the information needed from your HR team. Employers who prefer to start smaller can begin with an optional, scoped 90-day pilot that includes all platform features and standard program reporting.
Pricing and inclusions
Pricing is tailored to your workforce and the support you choose to include. Your proposal sets out the employer fee, eligible families, included services, and any funded counselor or tutor capacity.
What does the employer fee cover?
Every quote covers the program itself:
- Benefit setup and configuration
- Employee and family onboarding
- Platform access for every eligible family
- Request coordination and specialist scheduling
- Two live family workshops each month, covering rotating college-admissions and financial-aid topics. Parents can suggest subjects for future sessions.
- Aggregate program reporting for your benefits team
- Office Hours administration of the benefit
Employers can also fund a block of counselor and tutor time for their families. Your plan sets its size and how much each family can draw on, and your proposal itemizes exactly what your organization is funding before anything is signed.
What do families receive?
Eligible employees receive an enrollment link, and Office Hours handles onboarding from there. A family describes what a student needs in a single request, and an Office Hours tutor or counselor follows up with the family's history in hand.
Families can ask for academic tutoring, study skills coaching, college planning, essay feedback, and deadline planning, and can attend both monthly workshops. Support is for students in grades 6–12. If your plan funds counselor and tutor time, it also sets each family's allowance, which is agreed and communicated to families before launch.
Do families pay for anything?
Families use the support your plan covers at no additional cost. If a family chooses one-to-one counseling or tutoring beyond that allowance, it is offered at the agreed corporate rates and the family pays for it directly.
That is optional. Nothing in the sponsored benefit depends on it, and hours a family pays for themselves are never reported back to the employer.
What determines the quote?
Three things:
- The number of eligible employees
- The services you fund, and how much family use they cover
- Any counselor or specialist capacity you choose to fund on top of that
Platform access, coordination, workshops, and reporting are part of the program rather than priced add-ons.
The privacy boundary
Employers sponsor access. Family information stays with families.
The employer-employee relationship and the family-platform relationship are separated by design. The employer sees aggregate program data. Individual requests, sessions, essay content, and student information are never visible to the sponsoring employer.
Hours are reported as a program total and are not currently withheld below the threshold. In small programs, aggregate hours may allow an employer to infer an individual family’s participation.
Office Hours is a benefit you sponsor, not a program you run. Families manage their own support, so there is no case management for HR.
Employers see
- Eligible and enrolled employees
- Participation: requests made and answered, and repeat use
- On-demand workshop views
- Progress through the deadline checklist
- Total hours used and remaining from any funded allowance
Employers never see
- Employee names linked to usage
- Student names or records
- Request content or session notes
- College choices or application status
- Headcounts below the reporting threshold (five people by default)
What families can use
The benefit brings tutoring, college guidance, and family education together in one program. Each is described in detail:
How setup works
Five steps from conversation to live benefit.
Schedule a conversation
Tell us about your workforce size, benefit structure, and what you want the benefit to achieve. No RFP required.
Agree the program scope
We agree on eligible families, included services, any funded counselor or tutor time, and the reporting that matters to your benefits team. If you would rather start smaller, a scoped 90-day pilot is available.
The benefit goes live
Once the agreement is signed, Office Hours opens enrollment for eligible employees and families can begin submitting requests. Your proposal will define the launch timeline and the information needed from your HR team.
Families start using the platform
Enrolled families submit requests, work with Office Hours tutors and counselors, and keep everything organized in their account. Your team doesn't receive any family- or student-level data.
You receive aggregate reporting
At the cadence we agree to, your benefits team receives a program-level report: enrollment, participation, on-demand workshop views, deadline-checklist progress, and total hours used from any funded allowance.
Request pricing.
Tell us about your workforce and the support you want to offer. We will follow up with a proposal that defines the employer fee, eligible families, included services, optional family-paid services, and the launch plan. No commitment required.
